Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

What This Means

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and similar laws in other states, you have the right to tell businesses not to "sell" your personal information or "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising (ads based on your activity across different websites).

LoanPathway does not sell your personal information for money outside of the loan-request process you direct. When you submit a request, you are instructing us to transmit it to our lead-distribution partner, Lending Revenue (lendingrevenue.net), and the lenders and lead buyers in its network, and we are compensated by those partners. Because some state laws may treat this kind of transfer, or the use of advertising identifiers, as a "sale" or "sharing," we give you the ability to opt out.

If you opt out, we will stop any sale or sharing of your personal information going forward, other than transmitting a loan request you choose to submit. Please note that submitting a new loan request is a direction from you to share that request with lenders.

How to Submit a Request

Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or browser extension sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser, and for you if we can associate the browser with you.

Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for written permission signed by you, and, where permitted by law, we may ask you to confirm directly with us that you gave the agent permission.

Verification

An opt-out request does not require identity verification in the same way as a request to know or delete. However, to apply your request to the right records, we will match the name, email address and phone number you provide against the information we hold. We may decline a request we reasonably believe is fraudulent, and we will tell you why.

Timeline

We will act on your opt-out request as soon as possible and no later than 15 business days after we receive it.

Information Already Sent to Lenders

If you already submitted a loan request, your information was sent at your direction to our distribution partner and the lenders and lead buyers in its network. Those companies use your information under their own privacy policies, and your opt-out with us does not automatically apply to them. To opt out with a lender or partner:

• Contact the company directly using the contact details in its emails, text messages or on its website;
• Reply STOP to text messages and use unsubscribe links in emails; and
• Ask us for help. Email [email protected] and we can tell you which partners and lenders we are able to identify as having received your request, and forward your opt-out request to our distribution partner.
